Pantomime – 16 to 18 February 2024

Our annual pantomime usually takes place at the end of February half term week. The 2024 show was Shrek. We welcome all children and young people who wish to take part. Our pantomimes are traditional entertainment for all the family, with jokes old and new, songs and dances, and plenty of audience participation. We also include a Christian dimension that fits naturally into the story. We have a dedicated Spotlight website which can be found here: bentsgreenspotlight.org

Fun day – Saturday 15 June 2024 11am until 4pm

Our Church ‘Fun day’ takes place on a Saturday in the summer with activities for all ages including a bouncy castle, ball pool, crèche area and toys for little ones and refreshments. Sometimes there is a real police van or fire engine for the children to see inside and talk to the officers or fire-men and  -women. See here for photos from the 2022 fun day. 

Sheffield Half-Marathon (which passes the church) – 7 April 2024

Instead of our usual Sunday morning Service, we usually open up the Church for refreshments as a Service to the community and a chance to chat and cheer on those running in the half-marathon.

Messy Church

Each year we usually have a special Messy Easter, Messy Harvest and Messy Christmas event. These are from 2pm to 4pm on 24th March 2024, 6th October 2024 and 1st December 2024. We have crafts for all ages available, a short story and refreshements. Photos from one of our events can be found here.
